What you do is write an advertisement for your product and every time someone clicks on it, you pay a price. It could be as little as $0.05 or even more than $20 for each click, the cost depends on a number of factors.
2) Media Buying – with this for of advertising, you are placing an image file called a banner onto a website. The banner contains your marketing message.
There are two ways to pay for banner ads. You can pay every time someone clicks the ad or you can pay every time the ad is shown. The method of paying that you choose will be dictated by your goals and the options available from the site you are buying the ad from.
3) Social Media – this strategy involves creating accounts at sites like Facebook and Twitter. You spend time socializing online, adding friends and followers.
To turn the friends and followers into leads, you’ll need to offer a lot of free content to build relationships and trust first. Then you can transition people over into leads.
This method is free, but time consuming.
4) Emailing – the legal way to do this is to build an “opt in” list. In order to accomplish that, you’ll need a webpage that has some type of free offer, known as a lead magnet, on it.
You give out this free offer after someone has given you their email address on your webpage.
Your webpage is integrated with an email auto responder service that you load up with pre-written emails that market your services.
This is just a high level overview of the advertising piece of generating leads online. In order to truly leverage the internet for exclusive leads, you’ll need to understand the specifics.
